The IRF3205 is a high current N-Channel MOSFET that can switch currents upto 110A and 55V. The specialty of the MOSFET is that it has very low on resistance of only 8.0mΩ making it suitable for switching circuits like Inverters, motor speed control, DC-DC converter etc.

How do you test a channel Mosfet transistor?

1) Hold the MosFet by the case or the tab but don't touch the metal parts of the test probes with any of the other MosFet's terminals until needed. 2) First, touch the meter positive lead onto the MosFet's 'Gate'. 3) Now move the positive probe to the 'Drain'. You should get a 'low' reading.

What is the use of P55NF06?

The P55NF06 is an N-channel MOSFET with a high drain current of 50A and a low Rds value of 18 mΩ. It also has a VGS of 20V at which the MOSFET will start conducting. Hence it is commonly used to drive applications. However, a driver circuit is needed if the MOSFET has to be switched in completely.
